Chief White said as discussed at June 6 meeting, will be located at entry of shelter.  Fundraiser is centered on pavers. She introduced Tomeaka, who presented a slide show about the pavers, which will be on sand in a cemented area, and a bench.  Mayor Roberson asked how much staff time would be required - Tomeaka said they have discussed it w/ maintenance.  Chief White said plan A was good for ease of brick placement and removal.  Ms. Salgado asked what the minimum number is - 5, and the more you order, the lower the price, prefer 100.  Ms. Salgado asked about mortar - Chief White said it is sand, but very stable.  Ms. Primous asked how many - Chief White said should leave room for expansion.  Mr. Chambers asked if just people inside city - yes.  Mr. Chambers asked about people outside the limits - Chief White said that wasn't discussed.  Ms. Schlensker suggested anyone who uses the shelter could do it.  Chief White is not opposed to that. (Staff recommends approval of the item.)
City Engineer Mr. Casey said last year, FISD opened two new schools in city limits, infrastructure around schools is not complete.  Overland Grove added a sidewalk, but it didn't help.  This would restrict parking on Lemmon lane, also on streets around Willet.
Mr. Chambers asked if would have signs posted - yes, and stripe the streets.  Mr. Chambers asked which PD would respond - Chief White said they are public streets, so city.  FISD had no objections.  Ms. Salgado said one-way traffic would be good.  She asked if schools would email parents so they would know.  Mr. Casey said had a joint meeting, but wanted to wait until it was approved to discuss.
Mr. Jordan Bennet said he was someone who brought this to light, he thanked Mr. Casey for the help.  It's a safety issue for the children.  He lives there, has had people move his trash cans to park.
