Forney P&Z Dec. 04, 2014 does not happen...

The Forney Planning & Zoning commission on Dec. 04, 2014 had an overflow audience, but after waiting almost 30 minutes for an additional commissioner to arrive, Chairman Dobbs told the crowd that the public hearing would have to be rescheduled for the January meeting. Mr. Dobbs thanked the people for attending, and apologized to everyone, stating his mind was blown by not having a quorum, and he was disappointed to call off the meeting because he thought the revised proposal being presented tonight would be viewed favorably by those in attendance.
Most of the persons in attendance remained until after 8:30 debating with the developers' representative, voicing their concerns about the project, which would be developed around the Grandview subdivision off of FM1641.
